The value-priced CLR-101C Camera Link Repeater is an economical approach to increasing separation between camera and fame grabber. One Camera Link cable connects the camera to the repeater, and a second cable connects the repeater to the frame grabber. This solution provides a maximum 20 meter reach between camera and frame grabber using a pair of standard 10m Camera Link cables. Several repeaters and cables may be cascaded to support greater distances.
The Camera Link extender is compatible with ”base” configuration cameras. A link status LED identifies an active connection.
Combining the CLR-101C with shorter (i.e. 5m) cables provides separation while ensuring data integrity in high-performance applications.
The CLR-101C is housed in sturdy, compact aluminum enclosure. A locking-plug power supply is optional.

Camera and/or Frame Grabber has the mini (HDR/SDR) connector?
This product incorporates the standard (MDR) connector. Camera Link cables are readily available with the standard (MDR) connector on one end and the mini (HDR/SDR) connector on the other. Note that the CLR-101C does not support PoCL.
Cable Length Note:
To ensure data integrity, we recommend limiting Camera Link cable length for cameras with high clock frequencies as follows:
Max Cable Length
For example, cables used to connect the camera to the repeater AND the repeater to the frame grabber should be no longer than 5m with an 85 MHz camera.
Economical extender doubles distance between camera and frame grabber
Combine with shorter (i.e. 5m) cables to provide separation while ensuring data integrity in high-performance applications (i.e. high pixel clock frequency cameras)
Standard MDR connectors. Also interfaces to cameras and/or frame grabbers with mini (HDR/SDR) connector via readily-available adapting cables
Supports Camera Link base configuration
Minimal data pass-through latency
Camera Link ver 2.0 compliant
Link status LED
Several repeaters may be cascaded for greater distances
