(IN STOCK) Camera Link to HD-SDI / HDMI / DVI Converter:The CLT-371A is an improved version of the earlier CLT-371 that was discontinued due to component obsolescence issues.
The CLT-371A Camera Link Translator converts Camera Link to HD-SDI, enabling the use of Camera Link cameras with HD-SDI monitors, recorders, etc. Camera Link to HDMI and Camera Link to DVI are also supported via an inexpensive external adapter.
The Camera Link converter works with most color and monochrome base-configuration cameras. Output format is either 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
The Camera Link adapter features low latency (video delay), automatic frame rate adaptation, and Bayer demosaic & white balance. Camera control is via an RS-232 port or USB.
No software or preconfiguration is required; configuration is via rear-panel switch settings.
The CLT-371A is housed in a sturdy aluminum enclosure.
- Enables use of Camera Link cameras without a frame grabber
- Combines with our CLV-401A to add monitoring to existing imaging systems
- Can connect to cameras with mini (SDR/HDR) connector via adapting cables

Cable Length Note: To ensure data integrity, we recommend limiting Camera Link cable length for cameras with high clock frequencies as follows:
Camera Frequency
Max Cable Length
20-60 MHz
10m
61-79 MHz
7m
80-85 MHz
5m
For example, the cable used to connect the camera to the CLT-371 should be no longer than 5m with a 85 MHz camera.
Features:
Enables use of Camera Link cameras with HD-SDI monitors, recorders, etc. - HDMI & DVI-D output via an inexpensive external converter (i.e. $60 Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI)
Works with most Camera Link color and monochrome base-configuration cameras - PoCL cameras supported using Vivid CLR-102 adapter
HD-SDI 1920x1080 @ 29.97p or 30p, 1280x720 @ 59.94p or 60p
Combines with our CLV-401A Video Splitter to add monitoring to existing imaging systems
Low latency (video delay from camera input to HD-SDI output) - Video delay is 1 camera frame time + 1 HD-SDI frame time - i.e. for a 100 FPS camera and 60p output = 1/100 + 1/60 = 27msec
Bayer demosaicing and white balance correction
Crop and center for images larger/smaller than 1920x1080 or 1280x720
Camera set-up and control via RS-232 port, or via USB using optional adapter
Configured via rear-panel switches, no software or preprogramming required
Camera synchronization support
Test pattern generator
Camera presence and synchronization indicators
Multi-nation power supply included, locking-plug version optional
