New Simulator Supports Camera Link v2.1 Video Formats
The new CLS-221 Camera Link Simulator is an economical, high-performance video test pattern generator that supports all video formats including those introduced in the new Camera Link 2.1 specification. Fully programmable video timing enables the CLS-221 to mimic the characteristics of almost any camera. New features include enhanced timing performance, bayer color support, and additional video patterns (color bar, pseudo-random, walking-1). The CLS-221 also supports the AIA validation test pattern.
The CLS-221 operates from 10-95 MHz (i.e. beyond the Camera LInk 20-85 MHz range), making it very useful for component and system performance/margin testing.
The CLS-221 is controlled via an RS-232 port, USB (via optional adapter), or via the frame grabber serial port.
